Icewind Dale Best Racial Enemy

  2. Icewind Dale Best Racial Enemy
I'd make elves your racial enemy. That way, every time you pass a refelctive surface, you can freak out and beat yourself senseless. Yes, that's exactly what I'd do if I were you.
My second choice would be spiders because they are creepy. A good friend of mine used to walk around with a tarantula on her shaved head all the time. I avoided her that whole year until it was run over by a car (she dropped it in an intersection). If I could have made that car come a year sooner by choosing spiders as a racial enemy, I'd have done it.
Maybe, though, if your person is going to have a racial enemy, you should think of why? Make her have some awful childhood memory of a dog stealing her favorite sister. That would be really ruff, wouldn't it?
And, not that this makes any rational sense, but I think it might be a good idea to make Leprechauns your personal racial enemy. I know I have and it has helped me oh-so-much. You never know when one of those little bastards will come out from under a leaf and jump up and bite your ankles!

Icewind Dale Best Racial Enemy

So, lets assume the +2/+4 damage is because the Master Hunter ranger has anatomical knowledge on where to best injure it's favored enemy. This knowledge also helps him/her track it's favored enemy. Now lets look at the 120 monsters on the 'humanoid' list. Some are redundant, so lets just say it's really only about 70 or 80 different humanoid types. Take any race with Powerful Build - thanks to Tasha's anyone can have +2 to strength, so any Powerful Build race. Highest stat obviously goes in strength. My calculations will be done with 20, and you want to take ASIs to get to 20 until you do. You take 6 levels in Totem Barbarian. Best racial enemy Allright, so I am making a ranger/archer and I have to pick a racial enemy, however I dont remember what enemies you face often/rare and what racial enemies are a wasted skill and wich is a good pick. I've got a half-elven ranger/druid and an elven ranger/cleric, both of their racial enemies #1 are orcs. I'm in chapter one and I haven't regretted this decision yet. For my next choice I'm not sure yet, but I do hate both salamanders and yuan-ti, so maybe one of them. Big B, Sep 25, 2002. Even with the Racial Enemy bonus, skeletons still resist all or all-1 (maybe all-2 sometimes) of an Archer's arrow damage (just tested using some Inferno Arrows and a magic bow). I guess you could use it with a blunt melee weapon, but that sort of seems like misusing an Archer.
